The Career and Technical Center (CTC) serves students in grades 7-12, with a wide variety of career pathways. Students have the opportunity to become valuable working members of society by becoming career and college ready. District transportation is provided to and from each high school every day, every period.
The CTC provides many levels of curriculum delivery, such as traditional classrooms, online education classes, and concurrent enrollment (college credit) classes through Salt Lake Community College. Variable class scheduling allows students to attend at times that are most advantageous to their family, work, and personal schedules. Because of its unique location on the Salt Lake Community College South City campus, students at the CTC have access to high quality college-level labs. Additionally, the CTC provides state-of-the-art nursing, medical assisting, cosmetology, computer animation, and computer-programming labs that provide a professional, industry level standard.
The CTC provides four industry relevant career pathways.
Other career pathways are also offered through the Career and Technical Center.
